Wonderful tonight

It's late in the evening
She's wondering
What clothes to wear
She puts on her makeup
And brushes her long blond hair
And then she asks me
"Do I look alright?"

"Yes, you look wonderful tonight"

We go to a party
And everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady
Who's walking around me
And then she asks me
"Do you feel alright?"

It's time to go home now
I've got an aching head
So I gave her the car keys
And she helps me to bed
And then I tell her
As I turn out the light, I say
